Recently we did the new portraits for all the Seattle employees of Clark Construction, one of the most experienced and respected building and civil construction firms in the US. In Seattle, I photographed around 60 of their employees over two days, and they’ll be using the images in a company-wide ‘yearbook’ to celebrate a big milestone in business. I love doing work like this– photographing genuinely nice people who work for an obviously well run company.
For this shoot, I wanted to give a little variety to the images, so I worked all over the areas surrounding their building to find places that had flattering light, as well as backgrounds that were aesthetically nice while also maintaining the style of previous portraits. I think we hit the nail on the head!
